Ingredients

Sofrito:
~ Garlic, Onions, Tomatoes (2ish cloves, half of a huge onion, and 4-5 romas. Adjust as desired :) )
Épices: Chile Powder (Ancho and other peppers would probably be just fine too), Cumin, Oregano, Olive Oil
Chicken Noodle Soup:
~ Pasta
~ 1:1ish Broth and Water
~ Chicken (shredded is fine, otherwise you will need to adjust if cooking the chicken in boiling broth)
Épices: Salt (roughly 1tbsp for pasta, then some more for the final mixture)

Recipe

  1. Cook pasta in salted water, until molto al dente
  2. While cooking pasta, chop up garlic, onion, and tomatoes, and put in a food processor with Sofrito spices (no need to be shy with them)
  3. Dump half of the pasta water out, and replace with broth, cooking until boiling
  4. Put Sofrito (from food processor) into pasta pot and mix around, cooking for a minute or so
  5. Add shredded chicken, some more salt, and simmer for a little
  6. Put the heat to low to preserve heat, serve, and profit :) (the taste only gets stronger the deeper into each bowl you get)
  7. Experiment next time! This was super ad hoc and eyeballed (but delicious), so try things out and make it your own!
